Andalusian Dreams

Our recent travels through the southern Spanish province of Andalusia produced a wide variety of colorful and unique photo opportunities. My blog series, The Andalusian Chronicles, found on this site, showcases a few of these images. As a result, I decided to create a separate image gallery under my Artist/Photography menu called Andalusian Dreams.

As in all dreams, we often tend to remember the shapes and forms that seemed to take on lives of their own. Southern Spain offers many such sites. In fact, color seems to take on its own form and shapes.

The many Moorish influence found there also lead their lines into shapes that are often intensified by the rich, vibrant colors.
