Bolzano
Bolzano was the final location Jayne and I visited. It is the capitol of the province of South Tyrol.
This is the Assumption of Our Lady Cathedral from 1420.
These are the buildings that line the Via Bottai. It is characterised by its original signs in wrought iron of the numerous artisans’ cellars.
These are from the colorful daily farmers’ market.
And of course a visit to the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology is a must-see due to the 1991 discovery of a Neolithic mummy, made into the Otzi Iceman exhibit.
Just a few photos while taking in the sights.
So, that’s it! This ends my taste of the Dolomites.
Hope you enjoyed it!
Enjoy life!
It was huge!
Wow, that’s a daily Farmers Market? Well done as usual.
