My Top 12 Images From 2017

This year has been very hectic:  my son’s wedding, two granddaughters born thirty days apart, relocating my mother-in-law from Pennsylvania to a nursing home six minutes from us, and a more challenging year of pulmonary minor issues that are forcing me to slow down and scale back.

From the creative, artistic side, I learned to shoot product photography for a local tool and die shop, and became a juried member of an artist guild at a local gallery.

Again my recent travels, two European trips to Spain and Italy, have contributed to this year’s best images.

The old city section of Palma, Majorca, is mostly found near the marina. The city lights at night were fun to see.

This one was an interesting find in the old city of Palma, Majorca, from the Banys Arabs, Arabian Bath, dating from the 10th to 12th centuries.

This first one is Torre des Verger, an old watchtower from 1579 used by sentinels to warn of Moorish pirates.
